Talking AFL was produced for Australian Radio Stations for 2009 by Brett Phillips and BPM Media. The program launched on the following stations: My 105 FM Mackay Qld, Gove FM Nhulunbuy NT, Hedland FM Port Hedland WA, Triple T FM Townsville Qld, Dalby Community Radio Dalby Qld, Coast FM Wynyard Tas, 4WHO FM Yarraman Qld, Spirit FM Narrandera NSW, Radio Upper Murray Walwa Vic & Tumbarumba NSW, Flow FM SA, NT & Healesville Vic, Great Southern FM Victor Harbor SA.
Here's what a couple of the stations had to say:
Radio Mama, Geraldton WA: The show has been well received here in Geraldton, home of Paddy Ryder, Liam Anthony, Josh Kennedy, Paul Haselby, Brad Dick and Harry Taylor.
Coast FM, Wynyard Tas: It worked fantastic for us in a 6pm Friday Night timeslot. A great lead in to our local "NTFL Footy Show" at 6:30pm. Recieved very well! Especially from the many "Footy Fanatics" on the coast, who are after their fix, drving home from work.
Gove FM, Nhulunbuy NT: Talking AFL was well received here in East Arnhem Land, the feedback we gathered was mostly positive, re: show format, presentation and content.
Flow FM, Regional SA, NT & Vic: The program was a must listen for our sports presenters and often referred to in other programming. Our audience enjoyed the interview content and the quality of production met our commercial standards. We commend Brett and your team for the work done in producing an excellent AFL preview program and welcome its return next year.
Riverland Life FM, Riverland SA: We were very pleased with Talking AFL and our intention at this point is to take it again next year.
